Patrick’s music is a combination of Latin and acoustic rock with a South Beach live feel. His repertoire also includes Brazilian Sambas, Cuban music, Tangos, Boleros, Salsa, Blues, Gipsy Kings music, Buena Vista Social Club and more. There is a little of everything for everyone as he sings in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Gipsy. Patrick has been nominated by WAMA (Washington Area Music Association) as "Best Latin Vocalist " and also as "Best Latin Group". He and his band have returned from a tour of South America where his albums are selling well.

The Alexandria Kleztet is an exciting and innovative alternative klezmer band based in the Washington/Baltimore region. With hints of Gordon Lightfoot, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, and Paul Simon permeating through the music, Captain Quint, an eight-piece band, earned themselves an opening spot for Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band’s Far Side of the World Tour. They continued with shows at the State Theater in Virginia, a southeast tour through the Carolinas and Georgia, and northern exposure in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Captain Quint has become known both regionally and nationally for their entertaining stage show, complete with palm trees, crowd participation, an erupting volcano and lots and lots of bamboo.
They bring their own sound branded “real tropical rock and roll”. The release of Pineapple Jam helped define the “Quint” sound - a tasty roux of rock, reggae, calypso, Americana, and Latin flavors. Fusing Calypso, Salsa, and Reggae styles into a smooth yet fiery sound, the Maryland-based CAJE, Caribbean Art Jazz Ensemble, has excited audiences up and down the East Coast. Trinidad-born artist/musician/composer David Boothman is the founder and musical director and his artistic ideals have contributed to the ensemble's special style. There was a brief period in Jamaican music after ska was born but before Reggae when Rock Steady was the new beat. It was slower than ska but faster than Reggae would be. The early Wailers, Toots and The Maytals and other groups were listening to New Orleans radio stations across the Gulf of Mexico. They heard Jazz and Rhythm and Blues and blended the different styles together with traditional Island music to make a new sound, but one with roots. Creating a tropical appearance, the band provides palm trees on stage and typically dress in island wear. They can also dress in "black tie" or whatever is appropriate for the event. The band members have taken on nicknames which they use to refer to each other during the show: Hoppy Hopkins ("Rudy") is the percussionist and front-man. Several talented and ingenious pan players and pan lovers formed TROPICAL ENSEMBLE in 1994. Unknowingly, they came together sharing one common goal...the love for their unique cultural heritage. Although most Steel drum players originate from the twin Island State of Trinidad and Tobago, membership in this group is by no means limited to its citizens. Several of their members were born right here in the United States with their only link to the Steel drum being their love for it.
